Pearce, T.H., ed., Diary of Captain Henry A. Chambers: Fredericksburg to Appomattox (Wendell, NC: Broadfoot’s Bookmark, 1983). Hardcover, unclipped dust jacket with two yard sale dots on the cover; some dirt stains on the dust jacket as well.

Introduction and biographical sketch of Chambers by Selby A. Daniels, who autographed the front endpaper. Chambers (1841-1925), an Iredell County, North Carolina native, kept a diary of his Civil War experiences between January 1, 1862, and April 24, 1865. Painstakingly restored and annotated, it makes gripping reading of the soldier's-eye experience of that war. HBB price: $50 obo.
